Translation
How do I get started?
First, send us your text for evaluation. Based on the length, complexity, language combination, and any technical factors – such as format, graphs, DTF, and CMS exports – we’ll prepare a non-binding quote with a delivery date. Once that’s approved, we’ll get straight to work: translation → proofreading → delivery. The price includes one round of minor editing based on your comments.
What formats and tools do you work with?
We work with .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .pdf, .html, .xml/.xliff, and other common formats. We maintain consistent terminology by managing our own glossary, working with CAT tools, and taking your style guides (if available) into account.
How soon can you deliver the translation?
Smaller-scale projects usually take 24–48 hours (depending on workload and complexity), larger-scale projects by agreement.
How much will it cost?
Our rates depend on the factors mentioned above. However, our standard translation rate is roughly €0.06–0.14 per word.
Interpreting
Are you organising a conference with foreign participants or planning a bilateral meeting and need interpreting services? We’re happy to help you determine exactly what you need.
Simultaneous or consecutive interpreting?
Simultaneous interpreting is recommended for larger events and for multiple listeners: interpreters are located in a booth, and participants listen through wireless receivers. We’ll work with one of our reliable partner companies to provide the necessary equipment.
Consecutive interpreting is suitable for smaller formats or negotiations between two parties: the interpreter is physically present, takes notes, and interprets what is said into the other language after each portion of speech.
How many interpreters do I need?
The number of interpreters depends on the length of the event: for a short event of up to 35–40 minutes, one interpreter is sufficient; for longer events, two interpreters work in shifts to maintain consistent quality.
What information should I provide you with?
Background information and materials are key: send us the date, location, and topic, followed by the programme, slides, and materials – the more information you provide, the more accurate the result will be. All documents are treated confidentially; as always, confidentiality is our priority.
How much does interpreting cost?
Pricing varies by event type, complexity, and duration. As a guideline: minimum engagement (up to two hours) ~ €100; half-day (up to four hours) €200; full day (up to eight hours) €400. Travel and accommodation costs are negotiable.
Send us a brief description of the event and we’ll prepare a non-binding offer with a tailor-made proposal.
