TRANSLATION DEPARTMENT

Samuel Malý

I studied translation and interpreting at Matej Bel University, specialising in English and Russian. In practice, however, I primarily focus on English, and since my university days I’ve been working full-time as a professional translator.

I work with translation agencies and direct clients – both international and Slovak companies. I use CAT tools and quality-assurance checks to keep terminology and formatting consistent. I can adopt your style guides and glossaries or create and maintain them for you.

I approach every text with keen linguistic sensitivity, focusing on structure and context so the result reads naturally and works in its target setting. I specialise in several fields: IT, medicine and pharmaceuticals, automotive, finance, e-commerce, marketing, and media.

Besides translation, I regularly do proofreading, editing, and copywriting, and I produce studio-quality voice-over in Slovak and English. Confidentiality is my priority – I always treat sensitive data responsibly and with great care.

I highly value long-term partnerships, which will keep your brand’s voice, tone, and identity consistent across all channels.

INTERPRETING DEPARTMENT

Simona Nagyová

I studied translation and interpreting at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, specialising in English and Russian.

While still a student, I began working actively as an interpreter, gaining opportunities to devote my interpreting skills to international projects for non-profit organisations. Those experiences proved invaluable, and I now draw on them when working with a diverse range of clients.

I most often interpret at conferences, but I also regularly ensure smooth communication at seminars, educational events, festivals, interviews, and bilateral meetings – in short, anywhere multilingual settings call for mutual understanding.

I approach my work responsibly and with a human touch, aiming for natural flow and comfort for everyone involved – something every meeting of cultures deserves.

My preferred topics include culture, environmental issues, education, and psychology, but I also have experience in mechanical engineering, energy, law, and economics. With sound materials and adequate preparation time, I can tackle specialised subjects reliably.

Alongside commercial projects, I also do pro bono work in the non-profit sector.

That's our story thus far. Let us be a part of yours.
